Saltsburg Faith Alliance Church came into being in the
old Saltsburg School building on September 12, 2004. Approximately ten couples and several individuals gathered together for the first time in what used to be the school auditorium. Using a small donated keyboard and a lot of enthusiasm, we sang our hymns and celebrated the Lord's bounty. It was a very cold and drafty winter and we earnestly prayed for a 'real' church building! Our prayers were answered on March 6, 2005 when we had our first service at 820 Wood Street! What a happy day! Saltsburg Faith Alliance Church is a designated 'church
plant' and is affiliated with the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The regional district Office is located in Punxysutawney, Pa. We are a self-governing body with an emphasis on evangelism and individual spiritual growth. Our worship style is casual, our people are friendly and our music ranges from traditional to contemporary. We offer Sunday Children's Church as well as nursery facilities. Come and visit us soon!
